• Provide leadership and direction to the actuarial function of the organization.
• Establish proper reserves for Wellabe companies and explain financial results.
• Provide expertise and support for asset adequacy testing, annual audit, and quinquennial state exam.
• Oversee continuous improvement and modernization of actuarial processes.
• Ensure adherence to all departmental, regulatory, and actuarial guidelines for supported product lines.
• Oversee preparation and interpretation of actuarial data and related formulae.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reserve requirements.
• Direct monthly/quarterly/annual close for actuarial items.
• Support financial reporting and analysis for management and the board.
