About the role

  • Create and execute global sourcing strategies that deliver on Lamplight’s business needs, supports W.C. Bradley’s integrated global supply base initiatives for supply chain optimization, supplier consolidation and supplier relationship management
  • Identify and develop new global manufacturing partners that provide value to both Lamplight and W.C. Bradley’s globally integrated supply base with solutions driving speed to market, implementation of innovative technologies, higher product quality levels, and competitive total costs
  • Drive supply chain resiliency through discovery and development of new supply opportunities outside of China with the goal to reduce supply chain risks and to lower total costs, delivery lead time and inventory
  • Responsible for Lamplight’s annual global quoting and negotiation process for upcoming seasons including using current commodity and currency trends that result in most favorable results for Lamplight
  • Lead the global sourcing teams with all NPD activities, bringing expertise relative to product sourcing, project deliverables, supplier management and make vs buy evaluations
  • Provide direction, leadership and mentoring to members of the global sourcing team that support Global Supply Chain leadership policies, initiatives, and goals
  • Develop and execute process improvement initiatives that drive operational improvements and productivity for Lamplight

Requirements

  • Business Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field of study
  • Three to Five years supplier sourcing experience within a global supply chain environment
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship, negotiation, and supplier contract management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management techniques and processes and working in a cross-functional product development environment
  • Experienced in using SAP ERP and IBP tools
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the United States and internationally, up to 15% of the time
  • Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is preferred
  • Experience with CPG is preferred
