About the role
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for HR operations and assist in coordinating activities across all HR functions.
- Prepare and process required documentation for new hire requisition and employee change in statuses.
- Process new hire entries, compensation changes, and terminations in ADP and BambooHR.
- Upload and maintain compliant personnel files and employee documentation.
- Enter and update employee records in HR systems (ADP, BambooHR, Deel) ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and internal requirements.
- Generate and maintain HR reports, metrics, and dashboards to support business decisions.
- Manage and maintain the HR inbox to ensure timely responses and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and execute HR communications, engagement programs, and policy updates in partnership with the Global Director of HR.
- Support HR audits, reporting, and data reconciliation across HR systems and support reconciliations, and year-end reporting as needed.
- Maintain the annual HR calendar, including holidays, audits, performance reviews, and compliance checks.
- Assist in preparing HR reports for leadership review.
- Support the Global Director of HR with annual HR budget process through data preparation and expense tracking.
- Process payroll across multiple regions (U.S., Australia, New Zealand, and Canada) in partnership with Finance and external vendors while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support accurate and timely payroll preparation, ensuring alignment with employment agreements and schedules.
- Administer leave of absence tracking, return-to-work coordination, and benefits updates.
- Maintain compliance with benefit programs including 401k, health plans, and international equivalents.
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and international employment laws to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Support policy administration and assist in the rollout of new or updated HR policies, procedures, and training.
- Help mitigate HR-related risk by ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and adherence to internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- Experience/background in agriculture is preferred
- Experience with BambooHR, ADP, and Microsoft 365 is preferred
- Solid working knowledge of best practices in all HR functions including global recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, offboarding, human resource information systems and payroll.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including but not limited to global, federal, and state respective employment laws and employee relations.
- Proven record of success in developing and maintaining effective working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
