About the role
- Ensure our projects run profitably — providing the right numbers at the right time.
- You analyze financial metrics, derive optimization opportunities, and support management and various teams in evidence-based decision-making.
- (Further) development and implementation of cost center and cost-unit accounting.
- Project costing and project-related controlling across all phases.
- Preparation, analysis, and commentary on monthly reports as well as ad-hoc analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identification of economic optimization potential and recommendations for management.
- Close collaboration with the accounting team and regular, direct communication with the CFO.
- Independent management of all relevant controlling processes — from analysis to implementation.
- Communication with relevant stakeholders, e.g., banks and equity investors.
- Support for due diligence topics in the context of fundraising and M&A processes.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, finance, controlling, or a related field.
- 2–5 years’ professional experience in controlling, ideally in a project-oriented environment.
- Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally experience with DATEV.
- Experience with common ERP systems is a plus.
- Analytical mindset, structured working style, and a high degree of initiative.
- Hands-on mentality: you take action yourself and don’t wait for others to do it.
- Strong communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
