About the role
- SQL Development: Design, develop, and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- System Design: Create database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and develop scalable data models and architecture.
- Development & ETL: Implement database solutions and maintain ETL processes for data integration using GCP BigQuery.
- Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, support integration testing, and coordinate deployments with DevOps teams.
- Maintenance & Support: Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security and backup measures.
- SAC Development: Build dashboards and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud, integrating multiple data sources for accurate analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in SQL development and database optimisation.
- Proven experience with GCP BigQuery and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) development preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
