Backend Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend APIs and services focused on payment processing, billing, and end-to-end checkout experiences
• Integrate and manage third-party payment providers and gateways, ensuring seamless, reliable, and secure transaction flows
• Optimize payment infrastructure for high performance, scalability, and security while handling large volumes of concurrent transactions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, product, and customer support teams to continuously improve the user experience and resolve payment-related issues
• Play a key role in building our own managed payments platform, creating deeply integrated, automated, and scalable payment solutions for our customers
