About the role
- Help inform GTM and top of funnel outreach for health systems in the US
- Pick up established prospect funnel and move prospective clients through to contracting phase and close
- Leverage demand generation work from marketing team to create new opportunities
- Growth - Close new logo’s to provide net new growth and revenue for Virta
- Work with customer success and channel partner teams to maximize enrollments and expansions leading to increased revenue for Virta
- Leverage, educate, and co-sell with ASO partners for opportunity pull through
- Further promote Virta as an innovative virtual obesity and diabetes reversal solution
- Work closely with Virta team members to provide client/prospect feedback
Requirements
- 10+ years selling an innovative healthcare solution to HR leadership and/or clinical leadership at large health systems
- Quantifiable history of hitting personal sales targets
- Ability to present clearly to key decision makers
- Consultative selling experience
- Ability to proactively manage pipeline
- Ability to help build and adapt a GTM for this health system vertical
- Demonstrated collaboration with internal colleagues (marketing, product, ops, etc.) to support sales momentum
- A passion for improving the health of millions of people
- The ability to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment
- Existing relationships with key decision makers at large organizations (Bonus)
- Knowledge of Type 2 diabetes, obesity, GLP-1s, and of potential competitors (Bonus)
