About the role

  • You are the central point of contact for all IT-related matters at BVG
  • You implement the IT strategy technically, currently focusing on digitizing property management processes
  • You work closely with project and process management teams and with business departments
  • You manage complex IT projects while minimizing business risks and downtime
  • You create technical structures and solutions that enable business units to work digitally and efficiently
  • You evaluate and select suitable software partners in collaboration with external service providers
  • Responsible for the stable and secure operation of all software and digitization solutions used by BVG
  • Maintain IT documentation (system landscape, licenses, permissions, processes)
  • Ensure 1st and 2nd level support for all employees

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Several years of solid experience in IT management within a medium-sized company
  • Experience leading IT projects / subprojects as well as managing and coordinating external partners
  • Deep understanding of both the business processes of a (real estate) company and relevant trends, drivers and developments in IT and digitalization
  • Sound knowledge and experience in administering the ERP system Wodis Yuneo and Aareon Archiv kompakt or comparable real-estate-specific systems (e.g. SAP RE-FX, iX-Haus, DOMUS, RELion, Wodis Sigma) are an advantage
  • Reliability, independence and a well-structured, solution-oriented working style are among your strengths
  • Fluent written and spoken German
