About the role
- Identify and develop structural solutions for mobile telephony (mobile network) installations
- Independently perform the structural (static) design calculations for the entire installation
- Review and verify structural calculations for existing buildings and rooftop constructions
- Prepare preliminary sizing, detailed designs and review execution/construction drawings
- Provide technical support during installation and construction phases
- Define scope of requirements and carry out detailed surveys of existing infrastructure or new constructions
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and authorities when required
- Optimize work processes to improve efficiency and quality
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (e.g., HES/FH or equivalent) with strong knowledge in structural analysis and steel/metal construction
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Ideally experience in the mobile telecommunications sector or overhead line construction
- Proficiency with SIA standards and Eurocode
- Competence with structural analysis/calculation software
- Very good knowledge of German (minimum B2 desired)
- English is an advantage
