About the role
- Design and develop web applications using Liferay and Java/J2EE technologies
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
- Ensure that designs comply with specifications and industry best practices
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Work closely with our global technology partner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Liferay Portal
- Proven experience with Java Portal Specifications (JSR168/JSR 286) and Liferay DXP 7.0 or newer versions
- Expertise in Liferay, Java/J2EE application design, and development
- Familiarity with the OSGI framework, MVC design pattern, and Hibernate/Spring frameworks
- Experience integrating Liferay with external applications
- Strong Web UI development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiar with advanced front end frameworks such as angular, react or vue.js
- Familiar with container and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
