About the role
- Lead, further develop, and expand a growing team of developers
- Joint responsibility for the structured setup and growth of the department
- Design a scalable, secure, and modern software architecture
- Prioritize, plan, and manage the development roadmap
- Introduce and optimize agile processes, coding guidelines, and QA standards
- Support the technical and personal development of the developers
- Clearly communicate technical decisions to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams
- 5+ years of experience in development (frontend, backend, or full-stack)
- Understanding of modern web technologies (e.g., TypeScript, Node.js, React)
- Experience in technical and personnel (disciplinary) leadership
- Ability to make and justify technical decisions
- Experience with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)
- Understanding of CI/CD, cloud deployment, and testing strategies
- Fluent in German and English
