About the role

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate and select solutions or technologies.
  • Design and lead the implementation of application, technology, and data integration architecture across a set of applications or specific enterprise technologies in alignment with company strategy.
  • Provide architectural guidance to project teams.
  • Offer advisory support to technical and infrastructure architects to ensure solution implementations align with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Understand, advocate for, and reinforce information technology strategy principles.
  • Analyze the IT environment (manage, develop, and transform the business) to identify critical failures and recommend improvement measures.
  • Provide hands-on expertise and contribute to maintaining the architecture repository (standards, best practices, catalogs, etc.).

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science (University of Applied Sciences [HES], Bachelor's/Master's degree, or EPFL).
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a technical/solution architect role.
  • Experience on large-scale transformation projects.
  • Deep knowledge of inter-application data integration.
  • Experience with Cloud (Microsoft Azure and SaaS solutions) and in designing and implementing APIs.
  • Front-end knowledge (microfrontends, React, Angular).
  • Preferred experience with ERP systems (ideally Guidewire) and CRM (ideally Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Experience managing an enterprise architecture repository, ideally using a product (Sparx, IRIS, LeanX, BiZZdesign, etc.).
