About the role

  • Applies the principles of software engineering to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate computer software that provide business capabilities, solutions, and/or product suites.
  • Provides systems life cycle management to ensure delivery of technical solutions is on time and within budget.
  • Researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies.
  • Provides knowledge and support for applications’ development, integration, and maintenance.
  • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
  • Analyzes requirements, tests, and integrates application components.
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
  • May focus on web/internet applications specifically, using a variety of languages and platforms.
  • Provides specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual in nature.
  • Solves complex problems related to own job discipline by taking a new perspective on existing solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Application Development Experience
  • 8+ years of advanced level knowledge on Java, J2EE, Spring Boot
  • Advanced level knowledge of building UI applications using Angular
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server to create stored procedures, query fine tuning and performance optimization
  • Experience in conducting code reviews
  • Hands-on DevSecOps experience in Jfrog, SonarQube, ArgoCD
  • Experience of on-call production support
  • Expert level knowledge on deploying and troubleshooting applications in OpenShift
  • Performance testing & fine tuning high volume systems
  • Experience working with high volume and mission critical applications
  • Knowledge of GCP BigQuery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline – Preferred
  • GCP certification is preferred
