About the role
- Define and implement the product strategy for Engine Data, establishing Core Standards that enable deeper player understanding across Unity's platform
- Partner with engineering, machine learning, and multi-functional teams to build data infrastructure that helps developers attract and retain players
- Champion a unified platform vision, breaking down organizational boundaries to create coherent data flows from development through deployment
- Drive product roadmaps that balance immediate developer needs with long-term platform goals, ensuring runtime data collection is built into the Engine by design
- Collaborate with key decision makers across Unity to align Engine Data capabilities with company-wide strategic objectives
Requirements
- Proven track record building and scaling data products or infrastructure in complex technical environments
- Deep understanding of machine learning workflows and how data products enable ML engineering teams
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-functional teams, translating technical requirements into product strategy
- Experience shipping platform products that serve both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking skills with ability to navigate ambiguity and make data-informed decisions.
