About the role
- Lead the strategy and execution of complex engineering projects for a digital-first agency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale development initiatives focused on top-of-funnel user experiences, revenue technologies, and content management systems.
- Establish project frameworks: define the structure for executing development projects and foster team collaboration to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Evaluate and plan development tasks: assess wireframes and designs to determine complexity, break down tasks, create timelines, and manage project backlogs.
- Comprehend technical specifications: gain an in-depth understanding of frontend architecture, CMS implementations, and various integrations such as site search, advertising, APIs, personalization tools, localization, internationalization, and analytics.
- Facilitate Agile processes: apply Scrum and Kanban, create and manage issues in Jira, translate product roadmaps into actionable stories, maintain backlogs, estimate tasks, and lead Agile ceremonies in collaboration with Client Engagement/Production leads and Technical Directors.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Agile Methodologies: Demonstrated experience with Agile principles and frameworks, including Scrum, to facilitate efficient and adaptive project management.
- Expertise with Atlassian Tools: Hands-on experience utilizing Atlassian’s suite of products, particularly Jira and Confluence, for effective project tracking and team collaboration.
- CMS Platform Experience: Proven track record working with Contentful, Drupal, WordPress, or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring seamless content operations.
- Enterprise-Level Project Delivery: Successful participation in the delivery and deployment of large-scale engineering projects, encompassing both principal development and ongoing maintenance phases.
- Product Ownership Mentality: Ability to take full ownership of the product lifecycle, from strategic planning to execution.
- Experience comprehending frontend architecture, CMS implementations, and integrations (site search, advertising, APIs, personalization, localization, internationalization, analytics).
- Experience creating and managing issues in Jira, translating product roadmaps into actionable stories, maintaining backlogs, estimating tasks, and leading Agile ceremonies.
