Vice President

• Under broad oversight, responsible for the strategies and decisions which provide for profitability, growth and retention of business within an assigned region consistent with overall business unit and company objectives.
• Responsible for attracting, retaining, and managing employees.
• Overseeing the underwriting of new and renewal business for a Region.
• Works with the business unit president to develop business strategies for the region.
• Primarily manages a team of leaders.
• Has the overall responsibility for all aspects of their region.
• Sets strategies aligned with business unit and company objectives that grow and retain profitable book(s) of business in the regional market.
• Staff management functions include, but are not limited to, coaching, training, planning and performance management in a supportive, team oriented, collaborative manner.
• The incumbent in this job is a manager of managers.
