About the role
- Work directly with a wide variety of clients, including attorneys, property owners, contractors, and insurance professionals on investigations
- Manage projects independently and support more senior engineers
- Involvement in business development activities such as conferences
- Serve as an expert witness in various scenarios, including depositions and trials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 6+ years of experience in Mechanical Design or investigation
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in at least one jurisdiction
- Ability to write reports that clearly express engineering opinions and conclusions
- Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines
- Ability to manage and assist in the development of a team of junior engineers
- Ability to manage a forensics project from intake through deliverable
- Ability and willingness to travel for short durations for certain assignments
