Work as part of the Embedded Systems team owning firmware and software at the heart of the Reliable Robotics autonomy stack
Design and develop FPGA requirements, digital logic, and simulations
Perform code synthesis, hardware integration, and test support for FPGA projects
Contribute to multiple FPGA projects supporting the long-term Reliable Robotics technology roadmap
Provide dependable computing, networking, signal processing, and motor control solutions for flight computers and air-to-air RADAR
Collaborate in a highly cross-functional development environment with mutual peer review to maintain product quality
Enable product certification and delivery to market by implementing verifiable FPGA designs
Establish foundational technology for Reliable’s roadmap and directly impact aircraft capabilities and requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
8+ years of full-cycle electronics hardware development experience in a professional environment
Professional experience designing FPGA digital logic using industry-standard design, simulation, and synthesis tools
Ability to perform FPGA requirements, design, and simulation as well as code synthesis, hardware integration, and test support
Ability to provide documentation establishing status as a U.S. person or non-U.S. person and to comply with U.S. export control laws (access to export-controlled technology may be restricted)
(Preferred) Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
(Preferred) Proven track record of product ownership including development and field support
(Preferred) Experience with safety-critical FPGA development (DO-254 level A/B or equivalent industry standard)
(Preferred) Experience architecting, implementing, and verifying fixed point DSP algorithms
(Preferred) Comfortable with a fast-paced, agile/iterative development life cycle
(Preferred) Pragmatic, results-oriented work style
