About the role
- Monitor and analyze wagers and betting activity in real-time
- Make real-time, data-driven trading decisions to optimize sportsbook profitability and mitigate risk
- Identify and escalate sportsbook margin leaks in real time
- Analyze player betting patterns and risk exposure using advanced sportsbook analytics
- Collaborate with the Customer Optimization department to balance risk management with customer segmentation strategies
- Perform market analysis and collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop trading strategies
- Deliver high-quality, up-to-date insights across multiple sports
- Demonstrate intuition for risk analysis, backed by experience in a sportsbook trading function
Requirements
- Expertise in sports betting and customer behavior
- Comfortable with risk analysis
- Strong logical thinking skills
- Experience in a sportsbook trading function with data-driven decision-making
- Experience with sportsbook trading platforms such as Amelco and Kambi
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or Amplitude is a strong plus
