About the role

  • Shape national conversations about young people and influence policy at high levels.
  • Coordinate political visits and drive media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with The King’s Trust team to secure partnerships and public support.
  • Use storytelling to highlight the work done with young people.

Requirements

  • Managing public affairs and media activity across Scotland.
  • Raising awareness of The Trust’s impact and amplifying the voices of the young people we support.
  • Coordinating political visits or shaping policy responses.
  • Driving proactive media campaigns and securing coverage for events.
  • Ability to engage with fast-moving politics and credible storytelling.
  • Experience working with young people facing challenges; understanding their needs.
