About the role
- Foster strong relationships with co-pack partners to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Monitor and report on partner performance using key metrics and processes; drive accountability through data-driven insights.
- Oversee the financial performance of sites, including annual budget preparation, periodic reviews (monthly, quarterly), and strong control of direct, indirect, and unit costs.
- Lead collaborative efforts on continuous improvement initiatives with strategic partners, from ideation through execution, to offset inflationary pressures and support growth while ensuring delivery of annual savings targets.
- Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving efforts involving people, product, or equipment issues.
- Coordinate, organize and deliver communications concerning objectives, results, and plans within and between the site and other relevant parties to ensure seamless operations.
- Make necessary judgment calls on specific goal alignment to achieve operations excellence.
- Oversee the implementation and effective utilization of SAP and related systems; collaborate with IS to analyze data and optimize system performance for strategic decision-making.
- Support leadership in cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, upskilling, autonomy and continuous improvement.
- Seek to understand, influence and execute the co-pack operations strategy.
- Communicate the company's goals and objectives effectively to ensure alignment and commitment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing (CPG preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving in fast-paced environments
- Financial acumen and budget management
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
