About the role
- Own the Enrichment layer of our data stack, primarily through the creation and maintenance of data products and marts used by our analysts and scientists.
- Develop, maintain, and expand the use of a centralized Metric Library intended to be the source of truth for analysts for KPIs across the company.
- Embed with analysts to understand the most pressing needs and design solutions that are both efficient and scalable.
- Practice independently by producing and deploying your own solutions.
- Participate in team best practices, including agile sprint planning and peer review.
- Contribute to and maintain our data ecosystem through deployment of infrastructure, creation of pipelines and maintenance of our data lake.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or data engineer, preference for experience in clickstream data.
- Expert level knowledge of SQL, Databases (prefer BigQuery and Redshift) and Git.
- Knowledge of Python (preference for Airflow) and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Familiarity with event-based architecture (preference for Kafka).
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional teams.
