About the role
- Serve as a key resource for implementing People & Culture programs within acquired companies
- Evaluate and navigate diverse organizational cultures to design integration approaches for smooth transitions
- Plan, socialize, implement, measure, drive adoption, and refine People & Culture program rollouts
- Design processes and work with TELUS and acquired-company stakeholders to compare practices and develop implementation plans without disrupting operations
- Lead communications and change management to help new team members integrate TELUS People & Culture practices
- Manage project budgets using financial skills and ensure effective budget control
Requirements
- 7+ years of equivalent work experience tied to M&A functions (Acquisition Integration Experience)
- 7+ years of hands-on project management experience leading high-impact programs across multiple geographies
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, organizational culture, and change management programs
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong personal accountability and leadership
- Proven ability to build productive relationships and develop integration plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; strong presentation creation and delivery skills
- Advanced critical thinking, process design, and problem-solving skills with attention to quality and detail
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and executing plans despite uncertainty
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience and education
- Project management certification (great to have)
- French / English bilingualism; advanced English required for most interactions
