About the role
- Responsible for managing contracts and contract negotiations on behalf of the senior management team
- Participate in the review, preparation, negotiation and management of a variety of contract documents
- Manage and complete third-party sales channel partner, consultant and other Conga agreements
- Request-phase collaboration with Sales and key stakeholders
- Completion of due diligence requirements
- Drafting and negotiation of agreements
- Identification and communication of contract risks
- Agreement execution
- 'Cradle to grave' document management
- Identify and mitigate risks connected with non-standard terms and conditions
- Provide commercial and contractual input on the preparation and submission of quotations and proposal documents
- Support sales, bid and project teams by participating in and leading commercial and contractual negotiations
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Business or equivalent experience in a contract management or legal support function.
- Ability to work with contract management systems (e.g. Conga, Agileloft, SAP Ariba) and apply corporate requirements, policies and workflows to the contract management process.
- An ability to work with standard and non-standard forms of contract and commercial clauses.
- Exceptional attention to detail and writing skills required.
- Ability to manage workloads and properly prioritize tasks in accordance with business requirements.
- Strong collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Working knowledge of 'Battle of the Forms' transactions are a plus but not required.
