About the role
- Review RFPs (requests for proposals) and compile the requirements to ensure the service proposal is compliant at the time of submission
- Identify human resources needs for the projects assigned to you, in collaboration with the HR team
- Coordinate all necessary activities to submit the proposal on schedule
- Prepare the documentation and write the technical proposal to include in the RFP package, explaining how the company will deliver the project
- Act as an advisor during the development of software solutions using primarily Java or other technologies you master
- Perform the required programming according to the specifications provided by the lead analyst
- Write and/or modify functional and test analyses
- Participate in the analysis of production issues and identify solutions
- Produce all project-related documentation (e.g., impact analyses, cost/benefit assessments)
- Apply your expertise to support stakeholders across the involved departments as well as the internal and external resources assigned to you
- Contribute to solution design (develop approaches that meet technical constraints)
- Perform unit testing
- Ensure deadlines for your assignments are met
- Attend project follow-up meetings with the delivery team and report on progress, proposed solutions, and any issues that could jeopardize timelines or project delivery
- Support test coordination during user acceptance testing
- Perform the development required to adapt modules identified by architects and/or analysts
Requirements
- Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken — an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Office 365
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Must enjoy technical and functional writing and have an excellent command of written and spoken French
