About the role

  • Develop, evolve and maintain Java applications with a focus on performance, security and scalability.
  • Collaborate with global teams to define, design and deliver new features.
  • Participate in the analysis of technical requirements, proposing solutions aligned with best practices.
  • Ensure code quality with unit and integration tests and clean code practices.
  • Implement and maintain REST APIs, microservices and system integrations.
  • Work on bug fixes, performance tuning and architectural refinements.
  • Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline and DevOps practices.
  • Support less experienced teams through technical mentoring and code reviews.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in a technology-related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java development (Java 8+).
  • Proficiency with frameworks such as Spring (Boot, Data, Security) and Hibernate.
  • Deep knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture and integrations.
  • Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • Familiarity with Git and versioning/delivery pipelines.
  • Prior experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to solve complex problems, think critically and work autonomously.
  • Advanced English for communication with an international team – mandatory.
