About the role

Ensure the design, development and evolution of scalable APIs and microservices;
Work in autonomous squads;
Deliver consistent solutions aligned with best practices;
Propose continuous improvements and support engineering decisions;
Contribute to the platform’s quality, performance and growth;
Develop public and private APIs within a scalable microservices architecture;
Participate in the software development and release process.

Strong collaboration skills;
Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs;
Experience with MVC frameworks — Spring Boot;
Mindset focused on quality, security, performance, scalability and their impact on releases;
Experience with automated testing — unit, integration and functional tests;
Experience in Java development and object-oriented programming;
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript development;
Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases;
Experience with source control tools (Git);
Experience working in agile teams — Kanban, Scrum, XP;
Technical English.
