About the role
- Define and maintain Tangible’s technical architecture roadmap
- Drive architectural decisions for scalability, reliability, and security
- Own the end-to-end design of integrations with banks and financial institutions
- Ensure adherence to financial and data security regulations
- Provide technical leadership and direction to engineering teams
- Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to translate complex business requirements into robust solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software architecture
- Proven expertise in API design, enterprise integrations, and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of financial protocols (e.g., FIX, SWIFT, ISO 20022) and secure data exchange
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), containerization, and networking
- Hands-on experience with data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks (KYC/AML, PSD2, GDPR)
- Familiarity with identity and access management standards (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing technical strategy at the executive level
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
