About the role
- Works under direction from District Maintenance Manager or his designee.
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on all electronic systems related to the fracturing process.
- Repair and maintain company equipment including electrical and electronic systems, recording and control software, field computers, and network equipment.
- Communicate progress of repairs and maintenance to colleagues, service writer, and maintenance manager.
- Perform preventive maintenance on company equipment according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Identify problem areas and assist in making remedial action plans.
- Assist in scheduling and costing repairs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment problems.
- Assist in maintaining electrical and electronic parts inventory levels.
- Train maintenance and operations personnel on electrical systems and control software.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent/technical training diploma or certificate in electronics recommended.
- Experience in service company or oilfield operating company preferred
- Knowledge of electronic control systems, QA-QC and troubleshooting.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Sensitive to confidential information.
