Responsible for creating and understanding the project requirements, creating detailed test plans and cases, setting up test environments, and executing manual and automated tests
Log and track defects, perform regression and acceptance tests, and ensure the updated code meets all functional and non-functional requirements
Document activities, report progress to stakeholders, and continuously improve testing processes to maintain the quality and reliability of the modernized code
Requirements
US Citizenship required
Must be able to pass an IRS public trust investigation
Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
Excellent time management
Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals
Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
Experience with test script creation and execution management
Experience with test automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
Experience backend testing including APIs and database (SQL knowledge is a plus)
Experience with software development lifecycle
Experience with continuous integration/ continuous delivery (CI/CD)
