About the role
- Responsible for creating and understanding the project requirements, creating detailed test plans and cases, setting up test environments, and executing manual and automated tests
- Log and track defects, perform regression and acceptance tests, and ensure the updated code meets all functional and non-functional requirements
- Document activities, report progress to stakeholders, and continuously improve testing processes to maintain the quality and reliability of the modernized code
Requirements
- US Citizenship required
- Must be able to pass an IRS public trust investigation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
- Excellent time management
- Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals
- Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
- Experience with test script creation and execution management
- Experience with test automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
- Experience backend testing including APIs and database (SQL knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with software development lifecycle
- Experience with continuous integration/ continuous delivery (CI/CD)
