About the role
- Overall responsibility for internal IT systems, cyber security, and program focused IT solutions.
- Providing IT support, setting technical direction for our IT infrastructure.
- Manage information security projects through the project life cycle, including the development of project plans/schedules, scope, budgets, resources, schedule, deliverables, quality, risk.
- Managing internal and outsourced IT resources as well as developing and implementing internal IT strategy to support our growth.
- Understand technical IT challenges, provide technical guidance to team, and ensure technical quality.
- Required to be hands-on in managing, maintaining, and deploying IT systems (i.e. you perform server configuration, provide technical troubleshooting, install, and implement new systems, etc.).
- Manage regulatory and compliance programs: NIST 800-171, DFARS 7012, and CMMC
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based hardware and software.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Perform regular security audits and create disaster recovery plans.
- Provide technical support and training to staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet their technology needs.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and security threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- 7-10 Years of progressive experience in IT Systems, Cyber Security and/or IT Solutions Management.
- Able to communicate technical information clearly and precisely to users and management with varying technical knowledge levels.
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance standards and frameworks (NIST) and experience with CMMC compliance.
- Ability to perform regular system auditing and incident response.
- Superior logical and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication/interpersonal skills with all levels of employees and both internal and external customers, including presentations, negotiations, and written reports.
- Hands-on technical knowledge and skills include: Windows Server PowerShell Active Directory GCC High / Azure / Office 365 administration and services VMware ESXI / Hyper-V / Docker Networking (routing, switching, VPNs) Information Assurance practices (PKI, MFA Solutions, DLP, MDM)
