About the role

  • Lead and guide data migration projects, ensuring smooth project progression and effective communication between developers, the functional team, and the client.
  • Plan and design data migration projects, including defining scope, timelines, and resources needed.
  • Supervise the development of SQL stored procedures and simulations in the Migration Cockpit, providing assistance to developers as needed, ensuring best practices and methodologies are followed.
  • Collaborate with the client and functional team to address and adjust any issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure all data migration activities are thoroughly documented and aligned with project requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with project stakeholders to report on progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Identify potential project blockers and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on data migration processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in STEM, Business, or a related field (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is a plus)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
  • At least 2 years of experience in data migration projects
  • Deep understanding of SAP architecture
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit
  • Optional: Experience with Data Services
  • Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
