Accountant

• Responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, account reconciliations and monthly financial closes in accordance with HGB
• Preparation and analysis of financial reports, forecasts and variance analyses
• Close collaboration with project managers and the Finance Operations team to record project-related revenues and costs
• Responsible for deferred revenue and cost accruals
• Intercompany reconciliations within the Symbio group and the international finance team
• Support in preparing year-end closing documentation and working with tax advisors, auditors and authorities
• Support for consolidated reporting (knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP is an advantage)
• Automation and optimization of accounting and reporting processes
• Participation in cash planning and payment processing
• Involvement in process and system projects in the finance area
