About the role

  • Assist in executing data engineering projects within the Customer Intelligence portfolio to meet defined timelines and deliverables
  • Gather and document requirements for new data transformations and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines based on user and project specifications to enable reliable data movement
  • Develop and update technical documentation for key systems and data assets
  • Work with the Data Governance team on developing data dictionaries and other data quality tools
  • Support problem-solving by performing root cause analysis and evaluating potential solutions against requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture supports business opportunities
  • Monitor and optimize workflows and pipelines for efficiency and scalability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
  • Competency in at least one programming language used in data engineering (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark)
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, pipeline creation, and data warehouse architecture
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and tools (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
