About the role
- - Serve as a strategic and technical resource to our Sales team, assisting in securing new business throughout the sales process from discovery to close.
- - Engage in sales meetings as a technical lead, product consultant, and subject matter expert, navigating technical objections and achieving technical wins with prospects.
- - Collaborate with Account Executives to qualify leads, collect requirements through technical discovery, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and validate opportunities.
- - Continuously grow your knowledge and enhance your understanding and expertise of our comprehensive range of solutions.
- - Present value-led solution demonstrations to prospective customers, translating technical requirements into beneficial business outcomes.
- - Assist with customer trials and proof of concepts by organizing POC environments geared towards achieving specific goals and demonstrating proof points.
- - Scope solution designs, make configuration recommendations, and outline technical requirements to facilitate a smooth handover to the Implementation team, ensuring customer success.
- - Transition new clients to the Implementation Team by clearly communicating the proposed solution design and providing technical support and context during the onboarding process.
- - Gain an understanding of customer pain points and use cases by industry and job function, leveraging this insight to create tailored solutions.
- - Monitor the competitive landscape to identify product gaps and effectively communicate differentiators.
- - Act as a liaison between Sales and the Product, Implementation, Accounts, and Marketing teams.
- - Work closely with Product and Product Marketing teams to understand the product roadmap, provide customer feedback driven by data, and enable sales teams on upcoming product and integration releases.
- - Support efforts in responding to RFPs and Security Assessments.
- - Recognize and share best practices among Account Executives across different segments and sales cycles to constantly improve our sales approach.
- - Participate in events and present at sessions as a thought leader in the space.
Requirements
- - 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Mid-Market and/or Enterprise SaaS Solutions or Sales Engineering (or similar Presales role)
- - Strong understanding of technical elements of modern web frameworks (such as cloud infrastructure, API integrations, application modernization, and security frameworks)
- - Experience with marketing and creative technology stacks is highly advantageous
- - Familiarity with all phases of an Enterprise SaaS sales cycle
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - adept at understanding others’ objectives, adjusting communication style based on the audience, and collaborating with diverse personality types
- - Bias toward action and intellectual curiosity
- - Quick learner, capable of becoming a product expert in the Storyteq platform
- - Effective in client-facing situations, engaging with both prospects and customers to support them in reaching their goals
- - Motivation to take ownership of high-impact projects from the outset
