About the role

  • Create duty schedules for dressers and manage rehearsal support in TheaSoft
  • Direct and coordinate dresser assignments and rehearsal support
  • Organize, place orders for, and supervise temporary staff in the dressing area
  • Support performances, stage rehearsals and final rehearsals
  • Act as liaison between the costume directorate, stage management and house supervision
  • Manage revivals in close cooperation with the repertoire workshop
  • Maintain and update performance documentation, including photo documentation, in consultation with the dressers
  • Support guest performances and touring engagements

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship as a bespoke tailor, training as a wardrobe master, or an equivalent qualification
  • Self-reliance, strong commitment, assertiveness, artistic sensitivity, high stress tolerance, excellent teamwork skills and flexibility
  • Experience in theatre, film or television
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends
  • Good command of English
  • Proficient in common Microsoft applications
