About the role
- Create duty schedules for dressers and manage rehearsal support in TheaSoft
- Direct and coordinate dresser assignments and rehearsal support
- Organize, place orders for, and supervise temporary staff in the dressing area
- Support performances, stage rehearsals and final rehearsals
- Act as liaison between the costume directorate, stage management and house supervision
- Manage revivals in close cooperation with the repertoire workshop
- Maintain and update performance documentation, including photo documentation, in consultation with the dressers
- Support guest performances and touring engagements
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a bespoke tailor, training as a wardrobe master, or an equivalent qualification
- Self-reliance, strong commitment, assertiveness, artistic sensitivity, high stress tolerance, excellent teamwork skills and flexibility
- Experience in theatre, film or television
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends
- Good command of English
- Proficient in common Microsoft applications
