Engineer

• Work with clients to deliver safe, responsible, and innovative solutions.
• Work with geologists, geotechnical engineers, and civil engineers to help design mine access, determine mining methods, mine development, and mine infrastructure. Prepare mine development and production plans and schedules.
• Estimate performance productivities and support the preparation of capital and operating costs.
• Use of mining software programs such as MineSight 3D, Deswik, Minemax, Vulcan, Carlson or similar package to complete technical assignments.
• Attend meetings and interface with clients, external consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and/or vendors.
• Participate in technical reviews.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects and projects of peers.
• Supports the development of standards and specifications for the mining group.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Support business development efforts and proposal preparation.
• International or national travel can be expected with the possibility of extended stays.
