About the role
- Translate and adapt general and technical documents to the needs of the Quebec market (policies, reports, brochures, web content, internal memos, etc.)
- Review documents translated or written by other team members or freelance translators
- Conduct terminological research
Requirements
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written, and excellent understanding of English
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with translation tools (memoQ, Trados)
- Ability to translate from French into English (an asset)
- Strong organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting priorities and often tight deadlines
- Strong commitment to quality
- Autonomy and resourcefulness
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
