About the role
- Monitor and optimize welding processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Create and maintain welding procedures and documentation
- Conduct training and professional development for welding personnel
- Collaborate with the development department to improve welding techniques and procedures
- Support the planning and execution of projects in the field of welding technology
- Inspect and assess welds and welded joints
Requirements
- Further qualification as a Welding Engineer (SFI)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in welding technology, preferably in the metal industry
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Experience performing quality controls and working with testing/inspection methods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Independent and structured working style
