About the role
- Act as the interface for technical details between suppliers and internal technical departments
- Close collaboration with engineering and project management to optimize processes
- Ensure on-time procurement of parts, assemblies and services
- Responsible for tendering, commercial preparation and evaluation of offers
- Support supplier negotiations
- Release purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules
- Contribute to the strategic development of the supplier and product portfolio
- Identify and implement cost-saving and improvement opportunities
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct quality assurance discussions
- Ensure supplier performance
Requirements
- Degree in a technical or business discipline — alternatively, a technical apprenticeship with additional commercial qualification
- Ideally, experience in technical purchasing
- Assertiveness and decisiveness
- Confident demeanor in negotiations
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Solution-oriented working approach
- Business-fluent German and confident communication skills in English
