About the role
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Coordinate case filings, court schedules, and deadlines
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, courts, and third parties
- Maintain and update case management systems and databases
- Support the legal team in trial preparation and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Paralegal Studies or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of paralegal or legal assistant experience
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and documentation
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
