About the role
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the American market in collaboration with the International Sales Manager
- Establish action plans to achieve sales targets and conduct market research
- Evaluate sales team performance and improve effectiveness
- Participate in budgets and objective setting
- Drive business development and manage relationships with key accounts and consolidated groups
- Organize and coordinate sales team activities and oversee pricing strategies
- Review sales reports and provide guidance for complex challenges
- Collaborate with marketing on events and sales support
- Work with Greenville teams on logistics, supply-chain and back-office operations
- Implement reporting to the International Sales Manager and analyze sales data using Qlik
- Negotiate contracts and define/track KPIs
- Lead and manage the sales team including recruitment, training, professional development, and performance reviews
Requirements
- Technical or commercial training
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar position with team management
- Knowledge in commercial negotiation techniques
- Knowledge in compressed air is a bonus
