About the role
- Lead development and coordination of security programs and operations
- Ensure safeguards working to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from security threats
- Independently lead activities related to assigned project/area (implementation of security controls, risk assessments)
- Lead setting up and optimization of security management processes for internal customers
- Train and guide users and other business teams in relation to security controls, processes, and issues
- Train and mentor team members around new security controls/ systems/ processes
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet department goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of demonstrable work experience in security preferably in the healthcare research industry
- Preferred experience with Entra ID MFA/Conditional Access, Okta, Ping, Duo or SecureAuth
- Preferred experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Preferred experience with Identity and Access Governance solutions (Sailpoint or Saviynt)
- Demonstrated experience working with securing IT technology (e.g. cloud, SaaS, network/server management)
- Experience managing more complex IT security processes/ projects
- Certifications such as GSEC, Security+, CIAM, CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar required.
