About the role
- Manage configuration and the change lifecycle for existing systems and new projects.
- Create, maintain and audit baselines and configuration items.
- Verify naming conventions and the organization of artifacts in the Configuration Management tool.
- Control configuration and changes of all delivered products.
- Support development and integration teams, ensuring proper workspaces.
- Ensure environments allow reviews, testing, change control and defect remediation.
- Record, maintain and version the Configuration and Change Plan (CM Plan).
- Report progress metrics based on change controls.
- Perform software configuration audits and ensure compliance with established processes.
- Support deployment and continuous integration processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integrity of environments and deliverables.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Configuration Management principles and practices.
- Solid experience with Continuous Integration (CI).
- Experience with version control tools:
- ClearCase (Base and UCM)
- Subversion (SVN)
- GIT
- CA Endevor (mainframe environment)
- Experience with CI/CD tools:
- Jenkins
- SonarQube
- Maven
- Nexus
- Azure DevOps Server (ADS)
- Knowledge of parallel development patterns.
- Familiarity with the Eclipse IDE.
- Experience configuring application servers.
- Basic knowledge of API design and microservices-based architecture.
- Understanding of multi-tenant architectures.
- Knowledge of batch processing solutions in Java.
- Bachelor's degree in IT.
