About the role
- Observes system performance and user issues to provide technical support for computer applications and hardware.
- Handles user inquiries regarding system procedures, online transactions, and downtime protocols to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Documents troubleshooting activities in a tracking log and contacts network services or software teams to restore service and identify recurring problems.
- Administers the day-to-day operations of IT/OT support systems, ensuring that technology infrastructure operates at optimal levels to support business functions.
- Interprets and diagnoses technical issues, providing effective solutions for hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Keeps detailed records of issues reported, solutions implemented, and system performance to identify recurring problems or potential improvements.
- Answers IT/OT-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and effective guidance on software, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Maintains IT/OT equipment, ensuring that all devices, including computers, printers, and network systems, are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Monitors the performance of the organization’s IT/OT infrastructure, using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of the issues and solutions.
- Observes patterns in recurring IT/OT issues and recommends adjustments to improve systems or processes to prevent future disruptions.
- Coordinates with external vendors or third-party service providers to manage equipment repairs, software updates, and system improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma
- Years of Experience: 5-7 Years
- Minimum Education Level: Associate’s Degree
- Licenses/Certificates: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional
- Years of Experience: 8-11 Years
- A combination of education and experience may be considered for certain roles.
