About the role
- Help protect Florida’s water resources with a career at the Southwest Florida Water Management District
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Conduct technical and administrative work in areas of water resources for large scale water supply projects
- Manage water supply projects including review of technical data, project milestone tracking, and budget modifications
- Work in coordination with water, wastewater, and reclaimed utilities to plan and implement projects
- Communicate scientific and technical information in various formats such as reports and presentations
- Participate in emergency management activities and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Business and/or related field and one (1) year related work experience OR Associates Degree and three (3) years related work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Three (3) years related work experience (for Project Manager 2)
- Four (4) years related work experience (for Project Manager 3)
- Experience with potable water supply utilities (preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
