About the role

  • Selling orthodontic supplies such as brackets, aligners, bands, adhesives, arch wires, elastics, hand instruments, and other materials directly to orthodontists
  • Building relationships with orthodontists, their staffs, and orthodontic residents
  • Managing customer discounts, orders, receivables, and overall satisfaction
  • Meeting an overall sales quota
  • Working with a team consisting of inside sales, customer service, and accounts receivable
  • Participation in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program
  • Completing a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND five (5) years of experience in field sales in a private, public, government or military environment
  • OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution AND eleven (11) years of experience in field sales in a private, public, government or military environment
  • AND Current, Valid Drivers license is required
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, order entry software
  • Oral Care industry experience
  • History of developing customer relationships
  • Strong work ethic, people skills, and competitive background
  • Understanding of time and territory management
  • Comfort level with technical information and numbers
  • Ability to speak and teach in front of large groups
  • Familiarity with the geography of the field sales territory.
