About the role
- Track and report on planning and execution of projects, programs, and roadmaps across multiple squads or product areas, ensuring alignment with business strategy
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, architects, and leadership to orchestrate successful feature delivery and product launches
- Influence and mentor teams in Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), driving continuous improvement in development processes and helping teams achieve higher performance
- Act as a project and product escalation point, working with engineering and leadership teams to resolve blockers and deliver solutions to complex challenges
- Ensure engineering projects and priorities align with and support broader business goals, balancing customer needs, strategic impact, and competing priorities
- Proactively identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate program risks and dependencies across complex, multi-team initiatives
- Champion best practices in project management tools, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence; identify trends and drive organizational improvements
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Certification in Agile methodologies (CSM, PMI-ACP, Agile Coach, etc.) or project management (PMP)
- Proven track record coordinating complex projects across multiple engineering teams and product areas
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) with demonstrated experience coaching teams in Agile practices
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leaders and drive consensus across diverse groups
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks in complex, multi-faceted programs
