About the role

  • Track and report on planning and execution of projects, programs, and roadmaps across multiple squads or product areas, ensuring alignment with business strategy
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, architects, and leadership to orchestrate successful feature delivery and product launches
  • Influence and mentor teams in Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), driving continuous improvement in development processes and helping teams achieve higher performance
  • Act as a project and product escalation point, working with engineering and leadership teams to resolve blockers and deliver solutions to complex challenges
  • Ensure engineering projects and priorities align with and support broader business goals, balancing customer needs, strategic impact, and competing priorities
  • Proactively identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate program risks and dependencies across complex, multi-team initiatives
  • Champion best practices in project management tools, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence; identify trends and drive organizational improvements

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or related roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (CSM, PMI-ACP, Agile Coach, etc.) or project management (PMP)
  • Proven track record coordinating complex projects across multiple engineering teams and product areas
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) with demonstrated experience coaching teams in Agile practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leaders and drive consensus across diverse groups
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks in complex, multi-faceted programs
