About the role
- Advising on Murex best practices in the P&L processes, position management, accounting, hedge accounting and financial reporting
- Contributing to client-site MX.3 implementations during the requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment phases
- Participating in workshops, preparing documentation, configuring client requirements and performing quality assurance tests
- Providing client support including managing open issues and supporting upgrade activities
- Communicating development needs to the Murex product development team
- Providing internal and external training
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in capital markets technology
- Good understanding of accounting principles under IFRS or US GAAP
- Knowledge of hedge accounting is a plus
- Preferable experience includes supporting trading, treasury or accounting at banks or other financial institutions
- Experience with other fintech vendors
- Strong academic background in accounting, engineering or a math-based discipline (math, operations research, statistics etc.)
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system, SQL, and basic programming is a plus
- Advanced level of English is mandatory
