About the role
- Recruit, hire, and onboard an initial team of 5–6 Account Executives
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue goals
- Personally manage and close new business opportunities, maintaining an active portion of the sales pipeline
- Oversee forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance reporting to ensure predictable results
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align campaigns, messaging, and target segments
- Develop and refine sales processes, enablement materials, and vertical-specific strategies
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership on pricing, packaging, and market trends
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or player-coach capacity
- Demonstrated success hiring, developing, and scaling a sales team
- Consistent record of exceeding personal and team quotas
- Deep understanding of consultative sales, pipeline management, and CRM discipline (HubSpot experience a plus)
- Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills
- Experience selling to public-sector or enterprise customers preferred
